Terms and Conditions of Service

Effective Date: April 24, 2026

Weaving It Together Group Consulting LLC (dba WIT Group, “we,” “us,” or “our”)

By booking, paying for, or receiving any services (in-person or virtual organizing, decluttering, consulting, etc.) from us, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to these Terms and Conditions. These are incorporated by reference into any agreement, invoice, or booking confirmation. Our separate Privacy Policy governs data handling.

1. Services

We provide professional organizing, decluttering, space planning, digital organizing, estate clearing, transitions, productivity consulting, and related services (as described on our website or in proposals). Services are provided on a project, hourly, or package basis. We may use subcontractors bound by the same confidentiality and standards. Virtual services may use video platforms (e.g., Zoom) with your consent.

We are not a covered entity under HIPAA and do not solicit, collect, store, or maintain protected health information (PHI) or other sensitive health data as part of our services. Any health-related details you voluntarily share with us (for example, mobility limitations, medical equipment needs, or safety considerations that help us serve you better) will be treated as confidential client information under our Privacy Policy and handled with appropriate care. We do not use or disclose such information for any purpose other than delivering the requested organizing services.

2. Client Responsibilities and Preparation

You agree to:

  • Provide safe, hazard-free access to the premises (notify us of any dangers).
  • Be present or authorize access as needed.
  • Make all final decisions on what to keep, donate, sell, recycle, or discard.
  • Prepare the space as reasonably requested (e.g., clear surfaces for in-person sessions).
  • Identify and set aside high-value or sentimental items. You are responsible for the safety of your premises and belongings.

3. Payments and Fees

  • Fees are as quoted (hourly, project, or package). A deposit may be required.
  • Full payment is due at booking or as specified (e.g., upon completion).
  • Payments are non-refundable except in our sole discretion or as required by law.
  • Late payments accrue fees. We accept credit card via secure processors.
  • Organizing products / supplies are additional and billed separately.

4. Scheduling, Rescheduling, Cancellation, and Expiration

  • Appointments must be confirmed in advance.
  • Rescheduling or cancellation requires at least 48 hours’ notice (business days). Less than 48 hours or no-shows may incur full session fees.
  • All purchased services expire 6 months from purchase unless extended in writing. Unused sessions are forfeited (non-refundable).
  • We reserve the right to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances.

5. Liability and Disclaimer

  • We exercise reasonable care with your belongings but are not liable for any damage, loss, or theft during or after services. You waive claims against us for such incidents (except gross negligence).
  • Results depend on your participation and decisions—we provide no guarantees or warranties on outcomes (e.g., sustained organization or stress reduction).
  • You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from hazards on your premises, your decisions on items, or your use of our advice.
  • Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific services at issue.

5.1 Professional Services Disclaimer

Our organizing, decluttering, space planning, and consulting services are provided for informational and practical guidance only. We are not licensed attorneys, financial advisors, therapists, or other certified professionals. No attorney-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship is created. We make no guarantees or warranties regarding specific outcomes (e.g., sustained organization, stress reduction, financial results, or business success). Results depend on your active participation, decisions, and follow-through. All services and materials are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

5.2 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WIT Group, its organizers, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from: (a) your decisions regarding items or use of our advice; (b) hazards or unsafe conditions on your premises; (c) your violation of this Agreement, the Client Code of Conduct, or applicable law; or (d) any third-party claims related to your use of our services.

6. Confidentiality and Professional Standards

See our Privacy Policy for full details. We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information and observations. We follow professional organizing standards (including judgment-free, client-led approaches consistent with industry ethics like those promoted by NAPO).

7. Intellectual Property and Recordings

Our organizing methods, systems, templates, and materials are proprietary. You may not record sessions (audio/video) or reuse our materials commercially without written permission. Any photos/videos we create remain our property unless shared with your consent under the Privacy Policy.

8. Marketing and Testimonials

You are welcome to provide testimonials about your experience with our services. With your explicit written consent (via a separate release form, email confirmation, or signed agreement), we may also use and share approved photos, videos, before-and-after images, or success stories on our website, social media channels, marketing materials, or other promotional platforms. You may choose whether to be identified by name or remain anonymous.

All such use is governed by our Privacy Policy. Consent is voluntary and may be revoked at any time by written notice to us. Upon revocation, we will remove the content from public view as soon as reasonably practicable (typically within 10 business days).

We greatly appreciate your referrals and word-of-mouth recommendations. However, we do not guarantee or warrant specific results for other clients, as outcomes depend on many individual factors.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate with written notice. You remain responsible for fees for services already rendered. We may terminate for non-payment or unsafe conditions.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin (without regard to conflict of laws). Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Rock County, Wisconsin. You agree to mediation before litigation if requested.  You may request access to, correction, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us in writing. We will respond within 30 days (or as required by law).

11. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms (plus any proposal / contract / invoice and Privacy Policy) constitute the full agreement.
  • Severability: Invalid provisions do not affect the rest.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays due to events beyond control (e.g., weather, illness).
  • No Waiver: Failure to enforce a right does not waive it.
  • Changes: We may update these Terms; material changes are posted on our website. Continued services after changes = acceptance.
  • Contact: Same as Privacy Policy above.
  •  Accessibility: We are committed to providing services without discrimination. Reasonable accommodations for disabilities are available upon request with at least 10 business days’ notice.
